Location: Bages (Bcn)

Important International Engineering Company located in Bages area, needs an Operations Controller. Depending on the Operations Director, will be responsible to track all the global operational and business indicators, propose improvements and recovery plans based on analysis recommend; and propose plans to achieve the Business Plan and the annual budget. Main Tasks:

- Strict follow up & analysis of the Global Operative KPI's & propose actions to achieve annual budget, growth of the Company and the Business Plan.

- Lead an effective cost management globally by collecting, consolidating, analyzing, summarizing and reporting data, as example:

✓ Project Monitoring

✓ Cost forecasting (EVA Summary), annual budget, resource plan (POOL), MQ1&MQ2 dates…

✓ Risks evaluation (Deviations Analysis, Outsourcing, engineering rotation…)

✓ Internal delays and financial costs

- Maintain a close traceability of the projects and its objectives achievement: time, cost, quality and effectiveness of resources.

- Permanent and close follow-up of the economic situation (budget) and updated timings with the support of Project Management Office.

- Ensure compliance with project management global procedures within all areas and Intelligent Robots business units.

- Be active part on the compliance with the Operations System and support all Intelligent Robots business Units.

- Provide recommendations to all stakeholders to optimize resources, align strategies and increase added value to the company and track its results.

- Apply the Lean process linked to the global plan and develop specific plans to archive the objectives: visual management, development of quality systems, duality of resources, efficiency of resources, standardization, achievement of the budget, achievement of time to obtain total satisfaction of the client.

- Guide the Risk Management by preparing preventive and corrective plans to keep the business under control.

- Ensure Administration requirements from the operational point of view: invoices, pending receipts, reliability of SAP information, intercompanies…

- Drive or give support on different kind of presentations, meetings notes, reports, slide-pack for communications…

- Validate the operational viability of the quotations.

- Assist the Operations Director on the control of the different A3 documents and other improvements of the company, and propose corrective measures in case of deviation.

- Train a junior position/assistant and track its performance and professional evolution.

We look for a person with University Degree on Business Administration or similar. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment and smoothly adapt to changing circumstances, excellent attitude and communication skills to interact with all levels within the organization, excellent multi-project management skills with a sense of urgency and the ability to perform under tight time pressures required, strong computer skills including knowledge of computer financial applications and ERP systems, particularly SAP. Proficiency in English and Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint). Salary according to candidate knowledge and experience.
